Refund & Cancellation Policy

Right of withdrawal and refunds for digital products

1. Scope

This policy applies to purchases of digital products offered by beatfloe (Fabian Kunz), in particular beat licenses and audio files delivered as digital downloads.

2. Nature of the products

All products are digital content delivered electronically (instant download). No physical goods are shipped.

3. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving reasons, in accordance with German law (§ 355 BGB).

4. Expiry of the right of withdrawal

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performance, provided that you have (a) expressly consented to the immediate start of performance before the end of the withdrawal period, and (b) acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 (5) BGB). You provide this consent during checkout before the download is made available.

5. No refunds after download

Because of the above, once a download has been started or completed, the purchase is final and non-refundable.

6. Exceptions – when we do issue a refund

We will provide a refund or replacement if: (a) you were charged more than once for the same order, (b) the delivered file is technically defective and we are unable to provide a working replacement, or (c) you received a different product than the one purchased. Refunds in such cases are issued to the original payment method.

7. Business customers

If you purchase as a business (B2B), the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers does not apply. Business purchases are final upon completion.

8. How to request a refund

To request a refund or report an issue, contact us at info@beatfloe.com with your order number and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
